Okay, how many of you out there are readers? You? You? You? ME! Definitely me. I don’t get to read as much as I’d like to, but I’m definitely a reader-and I LOVE owning books. I have a really hard time parting with books, which is why I rarely use the library… lol
Some of you may also know that I co-host a blog called Chaotic Goddess Swaps which is dedicated solely to blog swaps. Well, it’s time for our third annual Books ‘n’ Bloggers Swap! Previously we’d only done two a year, but it’s so well-loved that this year we snuck a third book swap in! Yay!
How it works:
You sign up to participate in the swap here.
We (the admins) match you up with another blogger who has similar interests or we think you might like.
You put together a package with three books-One you’ve read and liked, once from your partner’s wishlist, and one that you haven’t read but thought sounded interesting. Along with the three books you can (optionally) fill it with goodies that are book related-treats, bookmarks, etc. Basically a package that you yourself would love to receive.
You send your package to your partner, they send one to you. You send us the tracking confirmation so we know you didn’t flake out. (Anyone who flakes is blacklisted).
Important dates for this swap:
Sign-Ups Close – Monday, August 24th
Partners assigned – Wednesday, August 26th
Packages must ship on or before – Saturday,September 5th
Show off Linky post live – Wednesday, September 9th
What are you waiting for?
Head on over and sign up!

Question: About how much does this swap run with money in mind? I love books and swaps, but on a budget.
This one doesn’t have a set budget, since we have a set amount of books to include-You’re only required to have the three books (one you love, one you haven’t read but think looks interesting, and one that they have on their wishlist) and you’re totally welcome to buy used books if you can find them or to send books you already own, as long as they’re in good condition. 🙂
Sounds good! I’m thinking about signing up!
Buying all new books and adding some extras I usually spend like $30-$40ish, however when buying used books I can typically keep it as cheap as $15ish maybe?
Can’t wait! I’m excited!
I saw this last time you posted it, but didn’t sign up. I think I will this time because I love finding new books to read, and sharing ones I love.
I really should sign up but the idea of finding the time to read three books right now is daunting! I love the idea though. Maybe next time it comes around!
What a fun swap. Also, I love your new theme. are you loving wordpress?
