Oh Instagram, my favorite of all Social Media channels. It speaks to reason that I’d love it so, with my penchant for taking photos and my joy in finding other beautiful photos to oggle and admire the talents behind them. A few weeks back I shared 10 Lifestyle Bloggers to Follow on Instagram, and I’ve decided to make this into a regular thing. I’ll be sharing Instagrammers and Bloggers’ from all genres here on the blog. If you have a great feed and would like to be included, follow me on Instagram and use my hashtag #mysocalledchaos to take photos of your world and what constitutes as your chaos.
I also just happen to be a lover of great travel who’s hindered by too many obligations (work, school, dog) and an empty pocket book (hashtag house poor). When the wanderlust gets to be too much, what do I do? Head on over to my Instagram and check out what my favorite travel bloggers and Instagram babes are up to, snoop around in the #dametraveler hashtag, and I go on take myself on a little virtual getaway.
Today I’d like to share with you 15 travel Instagram accounts that will help soothe your travel angst and help you escape the mundane daily woes so you can take an adventure with them. Enjoy!
@estherjulee | Esther from Local Explorer
Esther is quickly becoming a fast friend and favorite of mine. I’ve noticed her blog around for a while, and she and her adorable partner-in-crime (her main man Jacob, who’s IG feed is also wonderful) get up to some seriously awesome adventures. Recently, she was one of the admins that moved into a leading role with me in the Grow Your Blog group when the old founder decided to step down, and she’s seriously ace. Her feed is wonderful, her blog even more so, and her personality and bloggy friendship is outstanding. I love her face off, and look forward to following along in all of her upcoming adventures! You totally should too.
@cosmosmariners | Natalie from Cosmos Mariners
I love Natalie’s posts. Not only does she show off her gorgeous travel, but she’s constantly working to encourage other people to travel as well and offering helpful advice for doing so. There is so much fun to be found here.
@inspirationindulgence | Chels from Inspiration Indulgence
Chels has such a pretty feed, and I just adore her bright and vibrant colors! They just pop out at you in such a wonderful way. Plus, she’s such a great Instagrammer because she makes a huge effort to communicate with her followers and friends. I love someone who’s good at acknowledging comments and reciprocation.
@thesiberianamerican | Olya from The Siberian American
Olya’s account is totally a fun one to follow because she’s from one of the coldest cities in the world, found her way to one of the warmest places in Texas, and now she’s in Chicago with her honey and their cute corgi. But, she still travels, and she shared her fun adventures on both her blog and her IG account.
@thetraveldarling | Anne from The Travel Darling
Not only does she share cool travel photos, but Anne shares a lot of photos of her doing yoga poses in cool places. Like on the beach, in a field full of wild flowers, on a tree stump, the top of a mountain, in front of ancient ruins, and more! It’s so fun to follow her adventure, and see her little piece of paradise.
@wherever_i_mayroamblog | Melody from Wherever I May Roam
Melody is also an admin in the GYB group, and she’s fun to follow on her travel adventures too. I’d say she gets to the Disney parks the most, but who doesn’t like vicariously visiting Disney with her? It’s so fun!
@gorjaeous | Jae from Scatterbrain
Jae’s feed is full of lovely photos that make me feel like I’m part of the scene. The examples above are just a little snippet of it. Something about her photos don’t just look like they’re pictures taken by someone else, but they make you feel like you’re there in that moment. Could those be your feet in the sand? Are you lounging by that fire or waiting for her to blow a puff of snow in your direction? Maybe.
@btravelsbetter | Becca from B Travels Better
Becca’s feed is another fun and colorful one, and I just love when she includes her pup in the adventure too. A lot of her photos are very much Northern California and the Redwoods. That location holds a huge part of my heart, and being able to relive that area with her via her feed is wondrous.
@foreigngeek | NaNa from Foreign Geek
I love NaNa’s very realistic and down-to earth feed. It’s soft, it’s well-traveled, and it’s full of joy. I love watching her adventures and hearing her personal stories, and keeping up with it all.
@my_traveling_kids | Christine from My Traveling Kids
This one is a fun one because it encourages family to travel, and she documents her adventure taking her children with her all over. This is so great, because A-this woman is a rockstar for making these journeys with her littles and B-how cool are these kids? They’re going to grow up and be culturally educated and have a love for travel that I wish more people enjoyed. It’s wonderful.
@travelme.world | Mag from TravelMe.World
This account was a new one I found while researching this post, and I’m a happy new follower. I mean, her photos are stunning and LOOK! She KISSES ELEPHANTS. I want to kiss elephants. That’s like my dream in life, to be someone who kisses elephants on their big wrinkly trunks. So much love.
@tami_villa | Tami from Hunterly Travels
Tami’s feed is another one that’s newly found and newly loved. She’s a member of the GYB group, and I founder simply because I was looking for another travel blogger to round this out to a nice uneven 15. I’m glad I did though, she’s gorgeous and her feed is gorgeous also-she looks so stylish in all her travels.
@gallivantingbean | Genie from Gallivanting Bean on YouTube
Another new one, and honestly-look at it! How could I not follow it? It’s another one with big and bright photos, and I’m smitten. So gorgeous!
This one is an extra fun one to follow because it’s not just one person, and you-collegiate traveler you-have the opportunity to be featured on it. The College Tourist a community promoting study abroad and student travelers, and I love it! You can use their hashtag #collegetourist on your travel photos for a chance to be featured.
@dametraveler | Natasia of Dame Traveler
Natasia actually has her personal instagram under @natasiaspassport but this is a big community she started that has taken off. The idea behind #dametraveler on instagram is to encourage boss ladies to take control and travel-fierce, independent, traveling ladies all over the world share their photos with the dame traveler hashtag and the Dame Traveler account shares them here. It’s wonderful.
Who’s your favorite?
Did I miss anyone? Let me know in the comments, I’d love to find new wonderful travel accounts to escape into!
