In case you missed it last month, Monthly Coffee is a monthly linky party hosted by myself and Aubrey of High-Heeled Love. Each month we showcase our favorite posts from other bloggers that we found and enjoyed throughout the month. Are you ready for your February Favorites? I am ready to share them with you.
February Favorites fro the Blogosphere
Why I Don’t Blog for Free and Neither Should You by The Southern Thing
I cannot echo this enough! It’s increasingly often that I get requests from companies to write a post about their product without any kind of compensation. Why? Why would they think I’d want to just use up my valuable time and post space with nothing in return? Also, if they offer you “the chance to be featured on our social network” it’s even more offensive-because it’s not even guaranteed publicity for you, but it’s 100% publicity for them. Not okay.
My Glamulet DIY Charm: The Story of Our Love by Kimi Who
This is such a sweet post because Kimi tells us how she met her beau Jeremy. Awwww. So adorable.
White Chocolate and Oreo M&M Bark by Wife Mommy Me
What a cute St. Patrick’s Day recipe from Stephanie? I think it would be super fun to make for St. Patty’s Day fun!
6 Tips to Fall in Love with Reading Again by Chemistry Cachet
I think this one is great! I used to be such a huge reader, but as I grew up and time became shorter and free time was virtually non-existent, I lost it for a while… I wanted to read still, but it wasn’t a very big priority. Well, if that’s the case for you, you should definitely check out this post by Alexis.
Yosemite Winter Snow Day Adventure from Local Adventurer
I’ve always wanted to visit Yosemite, but I never even considered visiting in the winter. Luckily, I got to go on this pretty virtual trip with Esther and Jacob to Yosemite and it looks like the perfect winter wonderland! So pretty.

I LOVED this post from Alicia. I too have found that my blog has given me a whole new set of skill that are prefect for my job and for future jobs I may consider. I’ll definitely be putting my blog on my resume from now on.
7 Pinterest Tips from a Pinterest Ambassador by Hey There Chelsie
Pinterest has been one of my best social networks, but Chelsie even had a lot of information in this post I didn’t know about-and I’m definitely learning more about Rich Pins from her. So great!
The Ultimate Guide to Rewatching the Gilmore Girls by Long Story Short with Megan and Wendy
I’m a Gilmore Girls addict. Seriously. I was late to the party with that show, but I’ve made up for it with the amount of times I’ve rewatched it since then. I enjoyed the resources that Megan and Wendy provided in this post, and there were some cute products I need too.
What were your February Favorites?
What is Monthly Coffee?
Monthly coffee is a monthly linky party where we showcase posts from other bloggers throughout the month. You’ll find all sorts of things here, anything that tickled our fancy for the month, and hopefully you’ll find new posts you love and make some new bloggy friends.
How to Participate in Monthly Coffee
- Write up a post showcasing the other posts you loved throughout the month. (I find it helpful to schedule the post or set it to draft at the start of the month, and then just add links to it as the month goes on so I don’t lose anything.)
- Add the button or a link back to the party to your post.
- Link-up in the inLinkz linky tool at the bottom of this post.
- Visit other partiers and check out what they showcased, and leave comments for them.
