Hello friends! Can you believe that it’s the end of the month already? I feel like I am always asking that… I really do have a poor concept of time! Well, and I was knocked on my butt for two whole days due to the flu this week… I literally just slept and binged Futurama for the past two days, and I’m still not fully functioning today. But I’m trying. I can’t afford more time off… Anyway, let’s talk about my February Favorites, shall we?
February Favorites in Beauty
I have very fine and frizzy hair. It’s basically impossible for me to keep my flyaways down around my face without hairspray, which just ends up looking stiff and gross. So, when I saw Jamie (my amazing stylist) last, I asked her if she had a suggestion. The Oil Non Oil is something she recommended, and something she’s been using on my hair all along. She recommended it, and even touted the fact that it’s so light-weight you can just rub it into your hands when finished.
What I Think
I’ve been using it for about a month so far and I feel like it provides enough of a hold to control my frizz without weighing my fine hair down or making it look gross, sticky, or greasy. Plus, it smells great and you really can just rub it into your hands without having to wash them or deal with them feeling gross. I’m thoroughly impressed and will keep using this on the regular. Plus, I can already tell the one bottle is going to last me a very long time, so the value is there. A+ in my book.
Pretty Polishes for Spring and Summer from Feisty Green Polka Dot | The colors she chose are GORGEOUS, and I’m especially loving that Essie tone… Perfection!

February Favorites in Art & Planning
As you know, I’ve been obsessed with planning and art supplies lately. Here are a few of my favorite things that I found due to this obsession this month.
Hand-Lettering (An Interactive Guide to the Art of Drawing Letters) by Megan Wells | I ordered a few books and workbooks on hand lettering lately (all of which were pretty good) but this book takes the cake. It’s so gorgeously presented with bright colors, quality paper, and a gorgeous hardcover. Serioulsy high-quality..
Hand Lettering Workbook Begintermediate Guide from Courtney Casper | I ordered this one first, and I love that it’s on Etsy and handmade. It is a bit smaller than I expected for the price, but it’s still very nice. The coolest part is that you can choose either just the book, or the book plus a pen and pencil-that way she sends you what you need.
Creative Lettering and Beyond: Inspiring tips, techniques, and ideas for hand lettering your way to beautiful works of art (Creative…and Beyond) by Multiple Authors | This one also looks really great. Very informative and super inexpensive.
Calligraphy & Hand Lettering Notepad: Over 100 Lined Practice Pages for Free Form Calligraphy & Hand Lettering (Practice Makes Perfect Series) from Gray & Gold Publishing | This is just a workbook, no real teaching, but it’s lined well (wich lots of different options) and should be fun for practicing in.
I’ve been wanting to try some bullet journaling, and when I saw @QuirkyHeart share some photos of her Bullet Journaling in a Facebook group I’m in, I was instantly obsessed. I want her skill… So pretty!
As always, completely obsessed with all things stickers, sticky notes, washi, etc. Here are a few of my February favorites when it comes to stuff I can use in my planner… And for other things…

Target Got Me Like…
Okay, Target dropped a TON of super cute stationery and planner goodies, did you see that? I mean I’m dying over the stuff in their dollar spot right now… Pssst… Giveaway coming soon. 😉
That dang face cup/pencil holder… | This face pencil holder has everyone in the planner/stationery community losing their minds… I didn’t even want one, but then everyone was talking about it and I ran across her in the store and honestly? I kind of love her in real life. It’s bigger than I expected (it’ll hold a lot of pens/pencils) and she’s really dang cute.
