My birthday is tomorrow, and this birthday wishlist is later than I planned because I sat down to make it and went “what on earth do I even want?” My answers were “I want to not feel so tired.” and “I want to be creative again…” Ultimately, they all boiled down to quitting my second job. So, I put in my notice. Once more free time was on the horizon, I suddenly remembered things I wanted to add to my birthday wishlist… And hey, it’s all creative stuff, or stuff for my home. My birthday wishlist is full of stuff that I haven’t had time to do, and hey-soon I will. I can’t wait.
Oh man, so much gardening and art… I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love and creating things. I also hope to open up an awesome shop here in the next few months that I know you’re all going to love, but for now-it’s a secret. I have a lot of secrets right now, but I swear you’ll all be informed on them in due time. Pinky promise.
My Birthday Wishlist
Granted, I don’t actually expect anyone to get me any of this… Its more like my own personal shopping list, which I like sharing with you so you know what I’m into these days, right?
Arts and Crafts Birthday Wishlist
Okay, so have you seen these? They are SO pretty. The super talented @kellycreates on Instagram has a video where she writes with Mermaid Markers and I became pretty instantly obsessed. Now I HAVE to have them. I need them.
I want one of these so dang bad. Seriously. I’m going to start making my own paper crafts and printing it out. This is a must for my upcoming projects and endeavors. There are good deals on Amazon too, like the one pictured as well as some bigger Silhouette Cameo Bundles like HERE and HERE.
When I was little my mother had calligraphy pens, and then in my early twenties she sent them on with me… I don’t know what happened to those. Probably still packed up in a box somewhere… or maybe lost forever? Anyway, I’ve been thinking of getting some new ones, and I saw this cute inexpensive set pop up in a BuJo-themed Buzzfeed listicle and had to add it to my birthday wishlist.
I love this thing! I have so many pens and pencils now, I probably need like eight of them… But it’s a start!
Home and Garden Birthday Wishlist
Now that I wont be working so much I’ll have time to actually get my house in order and start that garden I’ve been dreaming of for years. I’m starting prepping the yard this weekend… Soooo excited.
I really want to get my garden started, and I didn’t know how inexpensive tillers are. I mean, you can get a little one for around $100… Or you can even get a hand tiller for just over $20, or there’s one you can plug into your hand drill. Buuuut, I kind of want an actual easy Tiller. I may just order one of the cheap ones… I’m not sure.
A couple years ago I picked up a kitchen table and chairs second-hand, and the chairs haven’t faired very well. I could use a couple new chairs, and these are perfect! So cute!
I bought some cedar fence slats and other supplies to make raised garden beds last year, but didn’t get them together. I’m going to build them, but I can’t help wishing I just had some nice ready-to-go raised beds to put out and start planting.
Aren’t these cute? They’d help me keep my keys organized.
Eating healthy would be even easier with a Spiralizer. I like this little hand one, it takes up less space and looks like it works fairly well.
This elephant watering can is just cute. Unnecessary, but adorable.
I definitely want some cute solar lighting for my yard, and these branches are adorable.
Smoothies will be no problem in one of these bad boys…
Do you know how many times I’ve opened my drawer and realized I don’t have a pizza cutter recently? Well, a few… This is just super cute as well as useful.
I’m kind of obsessed with elephants and the color teal. This combines both!
Recently, with how busy I’ve been, I’ve slacked off on watering my plants. They’d never have to suffer with these self-watering globes sitting prettily in their leaves.
I want this so I can garden better. 🙂
Other Birthday Wishlist Goodies
When my doctor first diagnosed me with Plantar Fasciitis I picked up some of these Okabashi Maui flip flops and they basically fixed the entire problem. They’re the least expensive option I found for arch support, and wearing them all the time resolved the issue. Now, after another year on my feet it’s back and I could use a few more pair. Plus, my Jade ones broke a while back and it’s my favorite color… (As you can see from this entire wishlist)
My phone basically sucks at holding a charge these days, and I’ve been using cheap portable chargers for so long that I gave up on them. Last Summer my friend got really good power bank like this, and it will charge like four devices before needing to be recharged itself. I need a good one, and before my trip to Savannah would be nice.
Yeah, this is totally unnecessary, but this was one of my favorite video games as a kid and I think it looks super cool.
A mobile printer would be so fun. I told myself that I would use my big happy planner for memory planning this year and a the zip printer would be perfect for that.
