As most of you know, my favorite holiday is Halloween. I can’t get enough, and a lot of my Halloween decor stays out all year. I’m a spooky girl at heart. So, in celebration of my favorite time of year, I wanted to show you some of my favorite Halloween decor pieces this year. Many of these, well, they found a home with me already. 😉
Halloween Decor Favorites
Aside from the amazing Hocus Pocus Halloween Decor items I posted the other day, here are a few of my favorite Halloween decor items that I pretty much need (or have already bought haha) this year.
Halloween Animated Skeleton Fish Bowl
I first saw this over on The Haunted Housewife’s Instagram, and knew I had to go see it in public. So we went and looked, and sure enough baby girl LOVED the swimming fish, and we had to take it home. The boys have been begging us for a fish, so we told them this is the fish they get… I think I’ll leave this out all year-they’re the perfect pet! I don’t have to feed them, I don’t have to change their tank, they never demand anything of me, and it’s non stop entertainment for the kiddos.
Halloween Animated Radio
This was my must-buy Halloween item a year or two ago. I fell completely in love with it when I played with it at Target. There’s just something about the sounds it makes that jump-start my Halloween-loving heart and make me feel like a kid again.
Solar Powered Ghost and Pumpkin Lights
My silly house has ZERO plugs on the outside, which makes hanging lights difficult. So what do I do? Solar-Powered Lights! I bought some for Christmas one year, but have yet to buy any for Halloween. This year I ordered these adorable ghost and Pumpkin lights, and we’ve hung them up out front. They’re SO cute, they charged super fast, and they even flicker and have different patterns you can set. It’s really rad.
Bamboo And Coconut Jack O Lantern Wind Chime
I first saw this little beauty at World Market at the end of August. I wanted it, but I didn’t really want to spend the money at that time and convinced myself that if not buying it haunted me I’d go back for it. However, when I went back for it (because you know it haunted me that I didn’t buy it), they were all gone. I felt pretty heart broken… Until I found it online. So cute!
LED Moon Wall Decor
This is another piece I saw in the store, but I didn’t want to pay $50 for it and left it… And then I regretted it. I love this little moon so much-so I went searching for it weeks ago online and it wasn’t there. BUMMER. Except it showed up on the JOANN website yesterday, at 50% off, PLUS I had a coupon for another 25% off with only $4.99 shipping (in the JOANN app y’all). Suffice it to say, I ordered it.
Home Sweet Haunted Home Coir Mat
This year I decided I really want a Halloween door mat. The last time I bought a door mat specifically Halloween-themed was in my early twenties, and it’s been so many years it’s too faded and ratty and had to be tossed. But, it turns out I’m super picky and I didn’t really love any of them I’d seen. Then, Jessica from Living La Vida Holoka posted a picture of her doormat on Facebook and I thought aaawwwww, I want a “Home Sweet Haunted Home” door mat. Found it. Ordered it. Can’t wait! (Again, it’s 50% off right now, and there’s an additional 25% off in the JOANN app. You’re welcome.)
Lemax® Full Moon Moonshine Halloween Village Accessory
I already bought this. It was affordable, and I had a coupon in the Michael’s app, and I needed these moonshine-making witches for my Halloween village this year. SO cute.
Halloween Foam Tombstones
We have a few tombstones in our yard, and they’re so much fun! I love to make our front yard into a little graveyard, and I’m always game for a nice pun on a tombstone.
Halloween Ground Breaking Skeleton
We also have quite a few ground breaking skeletons in our yard, and they’re such a blast. We just put them up with the boys this past week, and they had so much fun.
